Marko Pranjić is a full professor holding a degree in theology and pedagogy and a doctoral degree in educational sciences. He has been for years now publishing professional and scientific papers in the field of educational sciences, mostly pedagogy, didactics, teaching methodology, and theological anthropology. He has designed and carried out different university courses in the field, offering also his university textbooks and manuals. Recently taught courses include: Pedagogy, Didactics, Teaching methodology, Ancient Greek Education at the Centre for Croatian Studies, and Theological Anthropology, Anthropology of World Religions I (Hinduism and Buddhism) and Anthropology of World Religions II (Judaism-Christianity and Islam) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Together with his assistants he has created courses like School pedagogy, Pedagogical psychology, Philosophy of education, Practical training and Correlation practicum, all taught at the Department of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education at the Centre for Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. He has published over 10 monographs, numerous scientific papers, and around 50 professional papers. He has presented at around twenty international scientific conferences and reviewed around hundred books. He has visited several European countries and the USA for professional development for shorter and longer periods of time. He is an actively competent speaker of German, Italian, and English, and passively of French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin.
