Born in 1954. She attended a postgraduate doctoral study at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and got her doctoral degree in 2001. From 2006 to 2012 she developed professionally in the fields of journalism and the media in Ljubljana, Maribor, Paris and Lugano. She has been permanently employed at the Centre for Croatian studies since 2013. She has presented at numerous scientific conferences in Croatia and abroad and published several books as well as papers in Croatian and international journals. She has held various honorary posts and performed various professional duties. Her research interests include the mass media, media culture, and media policy.
